Frequently
Asked Questions:
What
does it take to show this film in our area?
Not much. In fact
we are as excited as you are about arranging this event. However, due to the sensitivity of this project and also the specific
purpose of your event, we would want to communicate with you
throughout the preparation process and help you make it happen.
What
is the best program order for screening an event and having
Martyr Haik's family share their testimony at the event?
We would recommend
opening with two worship songs, by Hovspeian brothers, and then showing the 53 minute film followed by a solo or group song from
the Hovsepian family and a time of prayer for the persecuted
church. We also recommend dedicating a 10-15
minute slot to the director or Haik's wife for final sharing,
questions, and etc. This format can vary based on the purpose
and expectation of the event.
Will
we get some promotional material to promote the screening at our
location?
Yes, at your
request we can send you the artwork of the postcard, so you can
add your screening information on that, and print them.
Can
the producers be present at our showing for questions?
Yes, in fact we
would love to be there and see the work of God through this
film. We have seen more impact on the audience when the actual
Hovsepian family are present at the event. We understand that due to the cost of traveling and the
availability of the Hovsepian family, it might
not be feasible for all the members to be present at your event,
as this would depend on the need and budget of your
organization. However, we'll do our best to arrange for at least
one of the producers to be present at your event.
Remember to fill out the Screening Request Form, so we can get
back to you with the producer's available dates.
What
would the minimum recommended age be for event participants?
Although this film
is not officially rated, we recommend the minimum age of 13, for
viewing this film, this is due to few graphic content. Children
under the age of 13 would need parental guidance.
Is
there a flat fee for screening?
In order
to support Hovsepian
Ministries to continue their ministry to Iranians and the
persecuted church worldwide, we require that you purchase a
minimum of 10 DVDs at $13 per DVD, for congregations above 100
people. For congregations less than that
we require that you purchase
5 DVDs.
After we
received your screening request form (below), we will ship the
DVDs to the provided address with the invoice enclosed.
Can we
sell A Cry From Iran DVDs after the show?
If we are present
at your event, we will ask for a table to be set in the lobby
for the DVDs and our other products to be sold after the
screening. If we are not present at your event, we would ask
you to buy the minimum DVDs depending on your church size, so that you can
sell them on the day of the show, and have them available in
your bookstore afterwards.
What
are other costs we should consider?
In the case that
one or more representatives from Hovsepian Ministries are
present at your showing, we would appreciate if the traveling
cost can be reimbursed.
What
format is the film? Do we need a special projector or larger
screen?
The master film is
in High Definition "HD" however, using a DVD player and a decent
size screen should be okay for average auditoriums.
Screening in auditoriums beyond 1000 seat capacity could require
the need for HD projector and larger screen. For further
questions regarding technical matters, please have your
technician contact the producer at
info@josephfilms.com and we'll suggest some
solutions.
Can we use this screening to raise some funds for our mission
work or for any other unique purpose?
Due to sensitivity
of this film, and the agreement between copyright holders, we'd
strongly recommend that you would check with us, prior to any planning
towards your event, to minimize any confliction.
Thank you.
